About This Health Hub
Zuweira’s Health Hub, located in Naachem, was established by Give Basic Needs as part of the Northern Health Shield initiative, designed to bring healthcare closer to underserved communities. Guided by our mission to reduce suffering and amplify happiness, and our motto “Small Acts. Big Happy,” we focus on delivering practical, community-based solutions that improve everyday lives.
This Health Hub is intended to serve the people of Naachem and surrounding communities by providing accessible, affordable, and reliable healthcare close to home. By reducing long travel times and enabling early diagnosis and treatment, the hub helps prevent illness, improve health outcomes, and support overall community well-being.
Through this initiative, Give Basic Needs is building sustainable healthcare systems that combine local expertise with structured support, ensuring continuous access to essential medical services.
Meet Your Health Hub Lead
Zuweira Mahamadu, a trained Registered Nurse, leads this Health Hub with a strong commitment to delivering quality, compassionate care to the community. She trained at Nalerigu Nursing Training College and has gained experience working at Habana Medical Services, where she supported patients across a range of healthcare needs.
Her approach focuses on early diagnosis, prevention, and continuous support to help individuals and families stay healthy.
